Portfolio Final
Photo 1 Pictures

When i first came into this class i had no clue what i was getting into and i thought i was just going to take pictures and that was it. That Definitely was not the case. Especially when your an incoming freshman we obviously don't take things as serious. Their was a huge amount of content i had to learn, like the parts the the camera and their functions and the different type of shot types their were and different ways to edit, etc; From walking into this class and knowing absolutely nothing i could finally say that i learned a vast amount of information. My teacher was right that year was a boot camp because i hated it at first but i know all it did was helped me improve in the photography area. I think i did significantly well my first year of photography, well at least more than most people. i know i was not very good at editing at all so my images lacked equality tremendously. Some of my shot types were poorly done as well so i know i could ave improved on that.
Photo 2 pictures

During photo 2 i definitely improved since photo 1. I Finally improved my editing on a whole other level and it showed a lot of dimension. I also got my shooting types better with that. I like this class a lot it's just you have to constantly be creative and you brain has to constantly be running. I had way more freedom and was able to be in areas that showed who i truly was as a photographer and express myself. Even though it was difficult coming up with independent projects i had a blast doing it and seeing my finishing product. i was so proud of myself. There was a huge stepping stone from photo 1 to photo 2 and I'm glad i took this class for another year.
What I Learned
These past two years have been a huge roller coaster and a huge breakthrough as well. If i hadn't took this class i would have still been taking ugly pictures and would not have been as creative as i am now. In photo 1 i was a freshman and as i told you i did not know anything in the beginning. Since Photo 1 was a boot camp there was a lot of information we had to cover and i was stressed out and thought that is how it would be every year if i took photo2 so i decided to not take it my sophomore year and take a break. i finally decided to take photo two because i was definitely more mature and took things more serious so i went back.
Once i started photo 2 i automatically loved this class and was able to explore my creativity. I learned how to manually set up the camera with shutter speed and the iOS. That was probably the most difficult thing i had to learn. Im not completely sure if i will be a professional photographer, but i will definitely get my own camera and take advantage of the things i have learned through my years of photography. I will do this by making money and taking other peoples pictures for any special events and maybe even just for fun. Even though it might not be my career in my future I'm glad i learned all of the things i did in this class.
